The elusive black color variation of the
HTC One S for T-Mobile has reared its head finally. The device is the same as the current model you can already purchase just in a sleek black edition. It looks pretty darn awesome. Don’t go getting all excited to run to the store and pick one up though. The Black One S is a special edition device that is being offered to T-Mobile store reps who meet certain sales goals for HTC devices. Having been a T-Mobile employee previously, I know that special edition device for employees happen often. Does that mean you won’t find one on Ebay or Craigslist at some point in time? Nope, but if the winner gets caught selling it they will risk losing their job and not many people will do that for a couple hundred bucks.
It is a pretty awesome incentive for employees though. Giving them a chance to get something that not everyone else has is pretty nice of T-Mobile. Hopefully we will see these make their way out for public consumption at some point, but we doubt it.
