Have any of you been receiving a message like this? Apparently, customers with rooted phones are getting messages like this from T-Mobile.
One thing I’m wondering though, is what the “unauthorized activities†are, according to T-Mobile. Tethering? Removing bloatware like the T-Mobile pack? Software modification?
Do you think ATT has started taking control of T-Mobile this early in the game? As I recall, they did send out similar messages like this one to iPhone users that happen to tether.
I just phoned T-Mobile, they have no comment at this time. We’ll be updating you all with more information as soon as we get it.
