Brent Johnson has passed away

It is with great sadness that bid farewell to our original webmaster at AbsolutelyAndroid.com.  Thomas Brent Johnson was known by many names; Brent Johnson, BrentCCTX, Brent09, ccdjs09, AndroidPimp as well as Friend, Mentor, Colleague and Son.  He passed away earlier this week, less than two weeks after his mother passed away.   While exact details have not been made public, it is known that he died of natural causes.

Brent initially set up Absolutely Android earlier this year.  And supported it through the many challenges that new websites face.  He worked diligently to make this site smoother, faster and better.  Prior to moving the site to a new host he got it up and running every time that some WordPress plug-in misbehaved.  He did all this, freely for his love of being a webmaster and his love of Android.  Brent also helped start many other websites including www.droidgawk.com

Brent was accomplished  in other areas as well.  He recieved a Bachelors of Science in Agriculture and taught at his local community college.  I know of many people that he helped with Android, Linux and general PC problems. That long list would include me on it several times.

In addition to being a great webmaster, Brent was also a very good DJ based in Corpus Christi, TX and truly loved doing this as well.  Many people in his area were lucky enough to hear him live on the radio and in clubs.   The rest of us gladly settled for the recorded shows that he would send to friends.

Brent, you will be sorely missed by everyone whose life you have touched.
