I am always on the hunt for curiously cool or interesting gadgetry. Sometimes those things aren’t earth shattering, but they are still important to myself, or end users, in one way or another. In this case it is a relatively new car charger from the likes of CHOETECH. The car charger isn’t your typical charger though, as it features 4 total ports and brings Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 2.0 technology along for the ride. You know what that means, right? That means if you sport a device that utilizes the Quick Charge ability (Nexus 6, Droid Turbo, Note 4) you can get the same 15 minute speedy charge in your vehicle that you can get when plugged into the Quick Charge charger at home.
If you aren’t rocking a Quick Charge 2.0 compatible device, this doesn’t mean this isn’t a car charger you. You should take a closer look at. The way the ports on this charger are set up it gives you one dedicated Quick Charge 2.0 port and 3 additional auto-detect ports. The four auto-detect ports will detect which device type you are plugging into it and adjust its output to charge that device at the best possible speeds. Faster charges while driving certainly aren’t a bad thing.
