If you just can’t get the hang of your Motorola Droid, how about heading south to Naples, FL and attending a course? Yes folks, this is a real course. Attendees must drop $69 for a series of 6 classes, but we must warn you about some of the power users already attending the class like seventy-year-old Bob Graham, who is a real estate agent, and county school employee Kevin Stockman, 59.
Mr. Graham claims that the Motorola Droid display is too sensitive and that the QWERTY keyboard was complicated and that it’s just too difficult to sync the device with his laptop. He then stated:
“At the moment, it’s more intimidating,†said Graham after class. “It’s going to be fun, but I think it’s better for the young kids who grow up fiddling with this stuff.†and that “One time I downloaded so many apps I had to go to the Verizon store because I thought I had run out of memory,†Graham said laughing, “But they said, ‘No, here’s how you get rid of them.â€
Technology sometimes gets the best of us folks, but we’re glad to see that old people in Florida are becoming even more dangerous by thinking they can text and get behind the wheel.
Would you ever consider taking classes to learn your device?
