If you have been reading and following our stories, you would have read that the android developer Eugene received a C&D letter from Google. It has been determined from Google themselves that this is a fake letter, and Google did no such thing.
In response to an email from Eugene, Dan Morrill responded with:

I checked with our attorneys, and I can confirm that the Google Trademark Enforcement Team did not send this email to you. This is wild speculation on my part, but someone may be trying to play a joke on you, or something similar.

Regardless, it didn’t come from Google. If you can obtain a copy of the original email with headers, I would appreciate taking a look at it, in case we can identify where it was sent from.
