Chameleon Launcher Beta Hits the Play Store Free to Try

Not to long ago, a kickstarter program began for a new launcher that would create a whole new tablet experience. I was actually amazed on what they have created, and it made me want to run out there and buy myself a tablet. Finally after a few months, Chameleon Launcher has hit the Play Store in beta fashion, and anyone that has a tablet should give it a ride.

If you guys are not familiar with Chameleon Launcher, its is a highly customizable launcher for your tablet. You can actually set up different homescreens with different apps and widgets on them, for different times of day. You know you are going to be taking that daily porcelain seat at that same time everyday because you are regular, you can set up a specific homescreen for reading books or magazines for that time of the day. There are many other features to go over, but I won’t bore you with them. It is a pretty innovative launcher, and I am curious to see how far it goes. Those of you that donated to the kickstarter will get your Chameleon goodness rolled out to you. Give it time, its rolling out slowly.

UPDATE: I guess you have to be registered for the company in order to get it on your phone. Sorry about that. You can install it but you will get a message saying you must register. As in you needed to have registered for the kickstarter for the launcher.

Check out the little demo video below. The video shows it running on a Nexus 7 with some good ole’ Jelly Bean to help it along.
