Facebook Canada announced the launch of the “Check In” feature of Facebook Places on your iPhone or Android device. Starting today you will be able to “check in” and receive deals while visiting select local businesses.
Whether using the Facebook on the web or from the app on your phone, you’ll be able to go to Facebook Places and check in to see what deals are available nearby. Deals will be shown in green or yellow for easy visibility. Some of the current deals available:
