Things are looking better and better for the Motorola Droid X and its battle for a custom ROM to be flashed on this device one day. Koush has successfully thrown Clockwork Recovery onto this device and Wednesday, we learned of Birdman from Alldroid, successfully booting a custom recovery image onto his device. While both Birdman and Koush have a custom recovery image on their device, the glimmer of hope remains, that a custom ROM might find its way onto the Droid X in the near future.
