CM 6.1.0-RC1 Released for T-Mobile G2, CyanogenMod Now on 20 Devices

We already spotted it as a nightly build on the Team Douche Mirror Network. Now the T-Mobile G2 is on it’s first CM6.1 Release Candidate. Cyanogen is personally maintaining this build for obvious reasons – he owns one. He has had his eye on the G2 prior to it’s release

The latest CM6 build is currently available for the T-Mobile G2 (HTC Vision) over at CommunityRelease.com . We expect to see a stable release shortly. In the meantime, show your G2 some CM6 love.

While on the topic of CM, you may already know that the MyTouch 4G (HTC Glacier) has also been officially added to the list of supported devices and is now in alpha development by Team Douche. We are yet to see an RC1 build for this device shortly.

CyanogenMOD CM6 has really been rolling out on different devices. There is now large selection of CM6 flavors to choose from – the count is at 20! For those of you that don’t know, Team Douche has added support for a few new devices including the Commtiva z71 variants and the Geeksphone One. Recent additions to the roster include devices such as Dell Streak, Acer Liquid, Desire HD (HTC Ace) and the Samsung Galaxy S – all of which are yet to have their respective releases. The CyanogenMod Roster keeps getting larger.

It looks like their doors are still open to new devs who are interested in supporting more devices. What devices would you like to see added to  the list? I have a funny feeling we are going to see support for the Galaxy Tab shortly. Any takers? Holla at Team Douche.

You can also download the latest ROMs for your device via ROM Manager or head over to the CyanogenMod Forums for full installation info by clicking their respective device links above. Enjoy!
