Coral City moves to open beta, build a city and try the game before Launch

There is something amazingly satisfying about testing an application or game while it is in the beta stages. Be it a closed beta or an open beta, only those that know what is going on ever get the chance. An awesome little company called Lonely Sock Games has been hard at work to bring their game out to the public. It has endured a closed beta process and is now opening up the apk for an open beta process.

Coral City will resemble many other games out there where you build up a city and manage it to the best of your abilities. If you haven’t guessed from the name of the game, you will be doing this all under water in the ocean. It is a rather colorful experience and looks like a good time. It will be free to play now and when officially launched. Taking on similar principles as Paradise Island where you will ultimately want to pick up extra in-game purchases with real money to progress faster. As much as I may not like the in-game purchases, they seem to make a ton of money with it.

There are a few particulars involved to get the optimal beta experience, check out the requirements below –

  • It is optimized for screen resolutions of 800 X 480
  • Tested on a limited number of device and may not work on all yet
  • You need an internet connect to play the first time, but offline gaming is possible after the initial run
  • Collection of basic information while connected to the internet, ie crashlogs and such.

Nothing we haven’t seen before. If you want to partake in the open beta you can head over to Lonely Sock Games to snag the apk. They also have other information about the Pearl Shop and how to submit your feedback for the game directly to them.
