We are all familiar with CyanogenMod by now, I hope. He and his team are probably the most widely know developers for bringing updates to phones that wouldn’t normally ever see them, as well as making the OTA updates perform better. Without them, the G1 would never see anything beyond 1.6 Donut. Needless to say, they bring a lot of wonderful work  to the forefront and share with us Android fans all over the word.
XDA member vatoloco just released a port of CyanogenMod nightly build for the TouchPro. It is still in an experimental state so be prepared for some bugs. There have been some reports, though, that it works pretty well. The developers are currently looking for testers to help with the project and make it flawless. If you are interested in helping test and have a TouchPro laying around, shoot them a request and maybe you can help them get this port perfected.
If you are ready and willing here are the links for the current builds.
- Froyredux-Port Latest Release 22-07-2010 (Base: RC1 -> will be updated soon)
- Froyorider-Port Latest Release 26-07-2010 (Brand-New RC2 -> you should go with this until the other builds are updated to RC2)

If you are dying for more information on how to set these builds up and how to get them on your phone successfully, check out their page on xda-developers. It has everything you need to know and even has video links for some extra help.
Best wishes and good luck. Let us know how they work out. As always these options are done at your own risk and could potentially damage your device.
