Another deal alert, the Nook HD and Nook HD+ are both on sale big time right now. It has been extended so that more could take advantage of it.
The Nook HD, originally $199, is now only $129! The Nook HD+ is only $149, previously $269. Well done B&N. THAT is a sale. We are talking $60 and $120 differences on quality, name brand tablets! Not to mention, with the tablets’ recent acquisition of the Google Play Store, you now have a fully featured, Play Store licensed tablet for the fraction of the cost of other tablets such as the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 or Tab 2.
The Nook HDs both, as previously stated, have the Google Play Store, along with other hardware amenities such as Bluetooth. The only downside is, you guessed it, no camera. What do you expect though, even though the Google Play Store availability makes it a “Tablet,” Nook emphasizes it more as an eReader and media device than our idea of a pure Android Tablet, so there will be some shortcomings. Nonetheless, it’s a price you cannot beat, period. It makes it hard to decide which value is better to me, the discounted Galaxy Player Variants, or this. However, this epitomizes the concept of a competitive market, and I love every second of it!
So are you going to buy one? If so, which? Let us know. Otherwise, go ahead and look at the special on the Barnes and Noble Website to order your very own Nook HD or Nook HD+ today!
