A new deal has sprung today that might interest many of you. Especially the outdoor enthusiast out there. The ZerLemon SolarJuice 20,000 mAh external battery bank is 50% off its retail cost.
The SolarJuice battery bank is quite a bit different from other battery banks out there. It features a 20,000 mAh battery inside, which is enough juice to get most smartphones through somewhere in the neighborhood of two-weeks of use. It is also rain resistant and shock-proof and offers up a 2.1A out port and a 1A port.
While some of that might not make it standout as a potential need, the fact that the SolarJuice also has a 1.2W monocrystalline solar panel. Of course this means that the sun can charge up the battery. However, it won’t charge up the 20,000 mAh bank strictly via the sun. ZeroLemon states that after approximately 8 hours in the sun it should charge an iPhone to 50%. Not amazing, but useful in emergency situations.
