The Dell Streak is a 5- inch, phone capable, Android based tablet that has finally been released in the U.S. It is  reportedly going to skip Android 2.1, and go straight to Android 2.2. According to Dell’s very own Lionel Menchaca, Dell is considering bypassing Android 2.1, in order to provide a faster, more efficient device. There has been no official word released as of yet. If this is true I believe that this phone will have the ability to compete against other high end devices, such as Droid X, Evo 4g, and Moto Droid 2.
