Display issues already occuring in T-Mobile’s Galaxy S II

Here we are with another amazing device to land in consumer hands and we already have issues surfacing. It seems to happen quite often. No carrier or manufacturer is immune to scrutiny. Nearly every popular device sold in history has had some sort of issue brought to light by the users. Some have been manufacturing defects that let dust slip under the screen other times it is faulty software that doesn’t get addressed for months. It all comes down to profits and margins. Is it more costly to fix a few 100,000 devices, exchange them or ignore the issue. As with any business, this margin is what causes the problem in all industries. What is acceptable to them might not be acceptable to the public. That sure isn’t going to change anything.

Point in case is the newest Galaxy S II to land on T-Mobiles network. The Super AMOLED Plus display is supposed to be a beautiful display with high contrast and vivid colors. Many people are finding out that the T-Mobile version of the device just doesn’t live up to the hype. What makes it more of an issue, is that similar issues and color problems aren’t apparent on the carrier versions of the same device. Currently there is a very in-depth look at the same device compared side-by-side to other carrier versions. The T-Mobile version just isn’t doing so well.

It still has not been determined if it being caused by hardware issues, faulty manufacturing or potential software glitches, but all areas are being looked into. If there is a software issue at hand, you can bet your paycheck that the devs will find the issue and resolve it as fast as possible. If the carriers or manufacturers do anything about it is a whole other story entirely.
