Steve Kondik, the legendary coder responsible for the CyanogenMOD project, took to Google+ about an hour ago to let the world know that there is now a pre-alpha CyanogenMOD 9 ROM available for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1Â WiFi-only model. For an early release, you’ll be blown away by the fact that everything in this ROM works, other than the camera (a common problem among most devices being worked on by the CM team and other developers). You can find the files you’ll need by visiting this link. Then, you’ll need to flash the recovery.img with fastboot, before flashing the ROM in recovery, as per Mr. Kondik’s instructions.
Keep in mind, we cannot be held accountable for anything you do to your tablet, or anything that happens as a result of you testing a pre-alpha ROM, so flash responsibly, Androidites!
