Droid 2 exposed with video

We saw the activation screen of the Motorola Droid 2 a few days ago. It wasn’t very clear but at least we could see the phone. Now we have something much better that will blow your mind. The folks over at Droid Life are doing an awesome job. The design of the Droid 2 is very similar to the original Droid, except you can see a big improvement on the keyboard. The D-Pad has been removed and now it’s much thinner, and hopefully easier to use than the original Droid keyboard. In fact, the complete phone seems to be much slimmer as compared to the original one.

The Droid 2 features a 3.7 inch touch screen, 750MHz OMAP, and 8GB of internal memory. The phone also features 8GB microSD card, which means the total memory is 16GB. There’s a 5 MP camera with a LED Flash. There’s no HDMI port, and the phone is running Android 2.1. May be it will contain Android 2.2 at launch, or will get Android 2.2 soon after it’s launch. I think this is not a high-end phone like the Droid Xtreme but it does look like this phone is the successor of Motorola Droid.

Please have a look on the video:
