DROID 4 appears on Best Buy Mobile’s Rewards Zone Promotion

It looks like Best Buy is so excited about the Droid 4 launching that, well, they accidentally posted the device on their own Rewards Zone Promotion advertisement for this month. If you had an existing device that was eligible for an upgrade, and you picked up a Motorola DROID 4, you would receive 5,000 Best Buy Reward points which would be converted into reward certificates. But we all know that the Droid 4 hasn’t been announced by Verizon, and will likely make an appearance at CES 2012 as Verizon’s first 4G LTE Dual-core smartphone.

For those who forgot, the Motorola DROID 4 is essentially just a Droid RAZR with a 5-row QWERTY keyboard, but it loses the Kevlar backing. It will obviously launch with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, 4G LTE, and Motorola’s ‘Application Platform (a.k.a. Motoblur).’ The device is also rumored to boast a 1.2 Ghz Dual-core TI OMAP processor, 1GB of RAM, and a 8MP camera with 1080P video recording.
