It seems that @DroidLanding, The official Droid X twitter account, was in fact wrong by tweeting that the Droid X will have a 1GHz Snapdragon processor. We can tell this because if you notice, they have deleted that tweet altogether. So if you saw this:
You might want to go ahead and ignore that tweet. The CPU powering this 1GHz monster is actually an OMAP processor. It looks like Motorola is sticking to their guns and staying with their trusted Texas Instruments OMAP as far as the CPU goes. I guess we can go ahead and chalk this up as AndroidStory -1 and @DroidLanding – 0.
