The latest and greatest tablet offerings from Motorola, the
Droid XYBOARD, are now officially available for sale in your local
Verizon store. Being one the most flexible devices I have seen in a while, offering many variants to appeal to almost anyone. Sporting Honeycomb, a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and water resistant nano coated Gorilla glass makes it a pretty good decision to purchase one. They come in a variety of sizes and memory limits depending on your pocket book and needs. You can snag a 10.1-inch version with 16GB for $529.99, a 32GB for $629.99 or a 64GB for $729.99. If you are looking for somewhat of a cheaper price, you can always go with the 8.2-inch version. The 16GB is $429.99 and the 32GB is $529.99.
All of the tablets variants offer the same internal and external features with the only difference being the screen size. As time progresses, I can see why the Kindle Fire, NOOK tablet and ASUS Transformers sell so well. With prices this high, I would have to take out a loan to get one. Until some of these major manufacturer and carriers can bring a good tablet to market that is affordable it is only going to land in the hands of business men and women with a corporate credit card.
Hopefully they sell well for Verizon and Motorola. Anyone out there picking one up are already have?
