The new build offers up a new photos tab, some UI improvements and updates, pre-ICS devices now look and feel like how DB looks and feels for the rest of us and lots of tweaks and bug fixes. Not to mention uploads are now in the menu in the files and folders browser. Seems to be a pretty great set of new stuff. Of course they make sure to mention that this isn’t the final build of the update and their could be some issues and random crashes and things. So if you take it for a spin and aren’t happy with it, best to wait till the official update rolls out. If you do give it a whirl, be sure to head into their forums and let them know what device you have and how it is working out for you and any changes you think it needs. They really do listen to us ya know.

But wait, there’s more!
Oh ya. I love Dropbox and there love for their customers. Personally it is all the free space I have built up, but also because they like feedback and offer up things to try before they release them to the general, uninformed, public. So what else is on the table right now? An experimental feature build for the desktop client as well. Build number 1.5.34. It was just put up on the 25th of September, so a little newer than the Android version. The latest PC client update focus mainly on the slick notification popup you see when a file is added, deleted or changes. It offers a few other little goodies too.
Since that preview build covers Mac, Linux and PC, we will just direct you to the Dropbox forum post for further information and the correct links for your current system.
