Acer is currently testing Android 2.2 builds for their Acer Liquid and Android@MoDaCo forum member LIQUID_USER has gotten his hands on a test build for the device. According to those who have tried it, this test build is relatively stable and all core functions work for the device and enhancements found in Android 2.2 (such as the JIT compiler) offer a definite speed increase.
Another user stated that the official update should start rolling out sometime in October and even provided some screenshots.
