After acquiring more than 500,000 Google Reader users after we learnt of Reader’s impending demise, Feedly has been hard at work trying to add features and hardware to its community happy.
The company states they have spent the last 60 days adding hardware and releasing updates. Remaining updates and improvements were based on community feedback, receiving more than 3,500 suggestions and thousands of votes.
Features coming within the next year include speed enhancements, search within Feedly, web access, Windows Phone and Windows 8 compatibility, group sharing and a collection of bug fixes.
Feedly has also teamed up with Reeder, Press, Nextgen Reader, Newsify and gReader for their Normandy Project which will allow users to access Feedly from any of these apps.
