FIFA 12 available for the Xperia PLAY for free, thanks to EA’s “Get in the Game” Promo

FIFA 12

If you own a Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY and you’re a soccer fan, we’ve got some great news for you. EA’s FIFA 12 is available, as of yesterday, exclusively for your device. Even better yet, for a limited time you can get it for free, along with a handful of other popular EA titles, thanks to the “Get in the Game” promo.

Starting today, December 1st,  you can get in the game with the latest version of EA´s famous football video game, FIFA 12, for free on your Xperiaâ„¢ PLAY, with a totally optimized gameplay for the PlayStation® Certified smartphone’s unique gamepad.

Check the cool trailer of the Gameplay Experience.

With FIFA 12, fans of football can expect improved gameplay depth, authentic commentaries, updated teams from the world’s top leagues, and all new replay systems and stadium designs to enhance the FIFA experience. I really can´t wait to control some of the world´s best players, such as Rooney, Kaka and  ”Chicharito” Hernández.

With this launch, FIFA 12 joins a strong roster of titles Electronic Arts  has brought to Xperia™ PLAY in 2011, including leading franchises like Battlefield and Need For Speed™.

A number of these titles are currently available for free download as part of Sony Ericsson’s ‘Get In The Game’ limited-time Xperiaâ„¢ PLAY promotion. FIFA Soccer 12 is be available for free as part of this promotion until early 2012.

Wondering what other games you can scoop up for free? Until the promo ends, you can get Dead Space, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Need for Speed: Shift and Need for Speed: Hot pursuit. This is a crazy cool promo, so make sure you don’t miss out on it.

Unfortunately, I don’t own a PLAY, but from the video below, this looks to be a solid game with some pretty amazing graphics. We’ve heard reports that FIFA 12 is only PLAY-exclusive temporarily, and that it’ll be coming for other devices in the future. If you get a chance to try it out, let us know what you think, kapeesh?
