Final Fantasy III makes its way to Android, Officially

We are sure that many of you out there are HUGE Final Fantasy fans. The series has been a huge success for a very long time. Keeping you from getting real work done and hogging the TV all night long. Finally, you can migrate to your bed, the train, the bus or the bathroom at work, and get your Final Fantasy fix. That’s right, developer SQUARE ENIX Co.,Ltd. has finally brought Final Fantasy III to our Android phones and tablets. Bring back a classic that many of you still love and play today on emulators across the country.

Square brought the game back to life with the 3D remastered glory they did when it was re-release in 2006 and even cleaned it up a bit more for Android. To add even more replay value, there are new story sequences added in just for us. If you thought you saw the entire FFIII story, you are wrong. They incorporated intuitive touch screen controls specifically tailored to Square Enix’s smartphone RPGs. The only thing we don’t see listed in their description is Xperia Play optimization. Seems like that would be a big selling point for the gamers. Take a gander at a few screenshots –

Are you excited yet? Well, don’t let it over flow. While the game is available in the Play Store for Android 2.2 and up, the price tag is a staggering $15.99. That is a bit steep in our opinion, but for the die-hard FF fans and loyal customers, it is pocket change. Especially since it will let you relive some of your favorite gaming moments mobile.
