Final Fantasy IV for Android
Looking for a classic game to spend the rest of the week playing? Well, Square Enix has you covered there. They have just released Final Fantasy IV to the Play Store. FFIV was the first in the series to introduce the Active Time Battle (ATB) system. The release is being hailed as a “complete 3D remake” of the original game that was launched back in 1991. Wow, that makes the game 22 years old.

Final Fantasy IV is said to run on Android 2.3.3 devices and up. That doesn’t mean your device can support the game though. Some of it will still come down to the processor and RAM. Initial users are reporting it to be pretty amazing and has been confirmed to work perfectly on the Nexus 7 and Nexus 10. There is also reports that the license check clears even on a rooted device. So that is good news. The reviews are still mixed on black borders and choppy battles at times though.

At $15.99 it is still holding a good 4.1 star rating though. If you pull the trigger on this classic, make sure you have Wi-Fi available for a little while as the initial file is 441MB’s. Hit the link below to go snag it.
