Fring making video calling better one step at a Time

Would you like to use video calling, but just don’t feel it is optimized, too laggy, and needs some improvement? Fring, an Android based video calling application is introducing DVQ mobile calling. Now I’m sure your probably wondering what that means right? The DVQ stands for Dynamic Video Quality, and is a system designed to adjust video and audio quality on the fly so that it jives with your bandwidth at all times.

A fast network can serve up high quality calling, while a poor signal can be salvaged with lower quality video and audio so that the call remains smooth and consistent. The video below demonstrates the concept (albeit in on an iPhone). Fring can be yours for free, and can be downloaded in the Android Market.
