The Froyo train is coming soon to the Motorola Milestone as Motorola has stated that Android 2.2 is currently in testing and user trials for the firmware are set to begin next week. We’ll assume that it’ll still take a couple of weeks before you will see this OTA bringing Froyo goodness to your device, but this is still good news being that Motorola at one point was on the fence about upgrading the Milestone.
Hopefully, you all will start receiving the Android 2.2 update over the next couple weeks to breathe new life to your device. We’ll let you know if they provide any more details regarding the update as soon as we hear it.
