Well it was only a matter of time before we finally got a picture of Sammy’s giant Galaxy Note and LG’s new Optimus Vu side by side. While it was hard enough for me to understand the 4:3 aspect ratio in printed word, it’s even more confusing seeing it side by side with the Note. I just don’t get what LG’s game is with this device. I totally get putting out a competing phablet, that is not lost on me. But what is lost is why they made it this size, it just seems awkward and frankly, it looks ugly. Engadget is reporting this story as well and says there are hints of a stylus coming with the Vu. If that is the case, I wonder what kind of stylus we’re talking about here. The Note’s “S Pen” has been talked up by Samsung with its 256 sensors and it’s ability to act like a real pen. Can LG bring game with the Optimus Vu? If LG has its way we’ll find out soon enough.
