Galaxy Note II benchmarks leaked in the wild?

Just today we told readers that Samsung would be unveiling their newest Galaxy device on August 15. Ironically, benchmarks for the rumored Galaxy Note II seemed to have leaked into the wild, packing a quad-core 1.6 Ghz Exynos 4412 processor with Mali-400 graphics, which is the same as the Galaxy S III.

The leaked device has a codename of GT-N7100, while the original Galaxy Note had a name of GT-N7000. It would only make sense that this is the next iteration of  Samsung’s phablet.

However, one specification that we’re not sure of yet is the screen resolution. The benchmarks over at GLBenchmark.com state that the screen resolution is 1280 x 720, however the original Note had a screen resolution of 1280 x 800. It wouldn’t make sense for Samsung to dumb down the screen resolution, however, could the 80 less pixels be used for an on-screen navigation bar? Only time will tell.
