In the past weeks, we have heard a lot of rumors, and have gotten a lot of confirmed specs on the Galaxy S IV. We know it will be sporting a 4.99-inch display, but what we still have not found out is what will be supporting that display. What is the body going to be made out of? The GSIII was made out of plastic, and to me, it felt cheap, and it reminded me of a toy. Did not affect the sales of that phone though, so I speculated that they would just stick with that design. Looks like I might be right.
According to CNET, Samsung will be sticking with the plastic design for the GSIV. It worked well for the GSIII; why change something that works? The Samsung executive also mentioned to CNET that Samsung is not all about aesthetics. I guess HTC is just stupid then. He then mentions that a phone in such high demand would be difficult manufacture is the was made with quality. Okay, those weren’t his exact words, but that is basically what he was getting at. I guess I can see the efficiency in that.
So has this changed your mind about getting a GSIV? My only phone I had that had a plastic feel was my G1. And even that seemed more durable than the GSIII. Let us know what you guys think about this.
