The true sign of a product dominating a market is when your branding is attached to a knock off device. Enter the mini Galaxy S to help make the less fortunate able to sport something like the real thing. After all looks are all that matter, right?
Also known as the “I9000 Mini”, this little devil is going to make some small waves, not necessarily the good kind though. I think the “mini” aspect of its name refers more towards its specs than to its size. Pulling in a whopping 320 x 480 pixels display, 512MB of ROM and RAM, and 5 MP camera doesn’t push this device to the forefront of cheaper alternatives. Sporting Android 2.1, the company promises 2.2 in coming weeks. We all know how those promises have worked out for devices that are backed by prominent manufactures. I applaud the efforts of these companies working so hard to bring less expensive alternatives out. It sure would be nice it they could do it bigger and better than the big dogs.  If you are looking to test one out, the mini Galaxy S can be obtained for a mere $200.
