Galaxy S5 Benchmarks Surface Showing Very Impressive Specs

Some Galaxy S5 benchmarks have already surfaced courtesy of GFX Bench, and oh are they very impressive. Now this is not confirmed that it is actually the Galaxy S5, but the mysterious model number SM-G900S ran through GFX Bench, and speculations suggest it is in fact the Galaxy S5.

The Galaxy S5 will be running Android 4.4 KitKat, and of course the newest version of TouchWiz. According to the benchmark, the new Galaxy will be rocking a Snapdragon 800 chip, but what might get people really excited is the 2k display with 2560 x 1440 resolution. No word on the size of the display, but I’ll put my money on a 5-inch display to support the beautiful screen quality.

Now since Samsung would be going with a 2k display, odds are they will be using Qualcomm’s newest processor instead of the Snapdragon 800. Rumors a couple weeks ago suggested that the Galaxy S5 could be released as early as March, but new information suggests an end of April release date. Let us know your thoughts about these specs. Will you get yourself a Galaxy S5?
