How can you make the Angry Birds even better? By allowing you to play with your Facebook friends of course. Angry Birds Friends from Rovio hit the Play Store last week, and now you have a fully integrated Facebook game in the palm of your hands. Roll your eyes Google Plussers.
I know what you are thinking; why do I want to play a Facebook game on my phone? My answer; because you can. Playing with friends is always a fun treat when it comes to mobile gaming. Having Angry Birds Friends being integrated with Facebook, just makes it easy for us.
In Angry Birds friends, its a pretty simple idea. Play different levels with different birds, and you will be placed on a scoreboard with your other friends that have played those levels as well. First you will go through the game in tutorial mode. You cannot seem to skip tutorial mode, which is actually a good thing, because it allows you to get familiar with certain power-ups that come with the game.
The power-ups are a nice little added bonus for this game. From activating a laser sight for your target, to accessing a huge bird with a helmet, the power-ups are easy to get use to. There is even a power-up practice mode you can use just to see what kind of power-ups you can get.
So with Angry Birds Friends, the birds of anger are once again resurrected. Now I do not think this game will send them up to the top of the mobile gaming pyramid again, but fans of all the other Angry Birds games will get a kick at challenging their friends at bird flinging combat.
