[Game] Stickman Base Jumper – launch yourself off a building, just because you Can

I personally love stick man games. They never take a huge amount of graphics, they are usually clean, simple, fun and addictive. Some that we have played are a bit more on the lack of trying side of things, but Stickman Base Jumper is right on the money.

The game is exactly what you think it is, but a whole lot more. You are a stickman who loves to base jump. You toss yourself carelessly off of buildings and other structures and fly towards the ground and pull your chute before you hit the ground. It goes beyond that though. You have to use some trial and error to get the right distance and arc off the structure to avoid obstacles, scream through buildings and counter the wind. The further you progress the tough the challenge. At one point you have to content with multiple bases, starting at one and landing on another and jumping off again.

The controls are easy enough to learn. You tap the screen once to start walking back, then tap it again to start your run towards the edge. The further back you go the faster you run and the further out you jump. Once you get to the edge you tap the screen again to jump. While falling you wait until the opportune time to pull the rip cord and parachute to the landing zone. Sounds easy enough. Except for the fact that each level is timed and your clock starts counting down on your approach. There will be a lot of time you will land in the zone but lose the jump because time ran out. It can be a bit tricky. Lets not forget the night levels where you can’t see half of the obstacles.

See, simple, but a challenge. Stickman Base Jumper is free in the Play Store and should easily keep you entertained for a few days. The game has 30 levels and features the amazing rag doll physics. Makes flying into a building or the ground pretty fun. Be sure you don’t pull the chute to late or else you man will end up with some broken legs.
