When I first hear the title of this movie, Cowboys & Aliens, it made me laugh. They I finally saw the trailer and thought it didn’t look half bad. With leads like Harrison Ford, Daniel Craig and the ever so tantalizing Olivia Wilde, it couldn’t be all that bad of a movie. I have yet to see it my self but have heard good things from friends. The movie released to theaters on July 29th, and will all good and some not so good action movies, gaming companies attempt to jump on board the Hollywood wave and capitalize on the movie themselves. That is exactly what Gameloft is doing.
Yesterday they released the Android version of the game to the Android Market.

The screen shots don’t look all that appealing though. The game is a typical side scrolling action shooter style game loosely based on the theatrical movie. It doesn’t seem like Gameloft hit this one out o the park though. Just looking at the screen shots reminds of games on my T-Mobile Wing. It almost looks rushed. I think they could have done a better job on this title and it might have been much better.
There is a bright side though. At least Gameloft is starting to release more games to the Market for us.
