General Dynamics Itronix’s New GD300 Takes Android to the Front Lines

The United States military has made their way around the Android community lately and it sounds like they have a favored OS. General Dynamics Itronix’s GD300 brings the latest technology to the front lines. Running an unknown Android OS, the GD300 brings GPS tracking and tactical radio communication to the individual. This 8-ounce, MIL-STD 810G tested device brings durability to the next level.

Features of the GD300 include:

  • 600MHz ARM Cortex A8 processor
  • 256MB of memory
  • 8GB flash storage and a 3.5-inch
  • 800 x 480 “glove-friendly” and “sunlight readable” touchscreen display
