General Mobile unveiled 3 beautiful Android powered smartphones. Engadget caught up with the company at MWC and took some pictures for us. Below are the Cosmos, Cosmos 2, and Touch Stone.
The Cosmos is a simple entry level Android phone. It’s really a good phone for those who have just entered the Android community. Here are the phone’s specs :
- Android 2.0+ OS
- 624Mhz Marvell PXA935 CPU 256 MB ROM
- 128 MB RAM
- 3.2 inch display
The Cosmos 2 is really beautiful. It looks like a higher end Android handset. The only spec available is the 5megapixel camera. This handset looks it could be competition for some of the smartphones on the market right now. Once we find out more about this hanndset, we’ll update you. Stay tuned.
The Touch Stone is definitely a high end phone . I think it looks similar to the HTC HD2 . Their display sizes are the same. This could be the Android version of the HD2.
Specs:
- 4.3-inch capacitive WVGA display.
- Marvell PXA935 core (not confirmed)
- 5 MP camera
- Touchscreen with Stylus
- 3.5 mm Headset Jack
This was only a sneak peek of the phones. The Cosmos 2 and the Touch Stone were dummy models. The Cosmos should be available soon. General Mobile said that these phones will be available Q4 of 2010. I love the look of all three handsets.
