We are nearly in the final month of the fourth quarter for 2011. Motorola announced in August that the
Milestone 2 would be receiving a Gingerbread update sometime in Q4. We never really expect any of these guys to stick to their statements since they haven’t had a great track record in the past. It looks like they are actually going to hit this one though. According to their Facebook page, the
Gingerbread update will start rolling out tomorrow.
As usual, the update will be rolling out in stages so if you don’t see it first thing in the morning, don’t freak out. It can usually take a few weeks before everyone gets it. You can always pop into your device and check manually if you are the impatient type. Lets hope it goes over well and isn’t riddled with issues.
