Google Adds Click-to-Call Feature to Mobile Searches

By now we’ve all used a Google search to find a number of a local store or business. Upon finding a specific place, you can usually find a phone number listed in the search results some where that pulls up in your dialer automatically when clicked. However, this new feature takes that functionallity to a different level.

Say you have emergency and you need poison control, simply conduct a search on Google and you should see the number displayed before all the actual search results and instead of having to open the link, the number is already clickable. While the ability has been around for some time, it hasn’t been used to this degree. It’s a simple new feature but who knows, maybe it could save your or a loved ones life one day.
