When Google launched its App Inventor beta program just last July, the response they received from the public was a bit overwhelming. With the initial launch, you had to fill out a request for access and then sit and wait for days even weeks to get access to the tool.
Not any longer. Today Google has moved the application building tool from beta status to public. It appears that App Inventor is still in beta, however it has been released to the general public.
You can locate it under Labs on Google’s site, just sign in with your Gmail user name and password, or you can also access it here.
So if you have been waiting forever to get accepted or just really wanted to try it out, get going. Let’s see what you can make!
