Google Currents International apk available for the world to Try
We haven’t had a chance to really take a good look at Google’s latest ‘Currents’ application. From the looks of it it is a very nice story board/magazine style news reader app. It looks really smooth and extremely nice. Unfortunately it isn’t available for those of you that are living outside of the U.S. Which is always a drag. We feel your pain. Remember though, you guys get a lot of great devices that we will never see, let us have an app. Just kidding. If you  are eager to get your hands on the app but don’t have access to it in the market, there is a nice apk file available over at XDA. Be sure to thank shenye for getting it up for everyone.
Since we didn’t officially cover the app, lets take a look at it for just a minute. Below you will see the snazzy video that Android Community made to show off how it works.
It looks really nice. For the U.S. residence, feel free to click or scan the QR code below to go ahead and get it installed. Everyone else, pop over to XDA for the apk.
