Google Docs updates, bringing tablet support with It

The more apps that Google updates that take full advantage of tablets the better. It shows other developers that tablets aren’t just a fad and that they are serious about making the experience from PC to Phone to Tablet a seemless and simple transition. This morning Google updated the Google Docs application to version 1.0.27, bringing with it some much needed improvements.

What’s in this version:

1. Optimized experience for tablet users, Honeycomb (Android 3.0+)
2. New 3-panel interface for improved browsing
3. Details panel showing a thumbnail and sharing information
4. Improved sharing experience with autocomplete system
5. Landscape or portrait mode
6. Improved video playback
