Google Fiber Hits Another City. More Cities to Follow.

google fiber

Google Fiber is something that any blogger or tech geek wants in their house. To have 1 Gbps of download speed just blows my mind. The upload speed is almost just as good, and I can imagine uploading a YouTube video in the matter of seconds. So far, Kansas City has been the playground for Google Fiber, but now it will jump to a new city.

So which major city is going to be getting the shear awesome power of Google Fiber? Olathe. Yeah, it is about 25 miles down the highway from Kansas City, and the city council of Olathe just approved  their town to get the new internet service. According to the Google Fiber Blog, expansion of this service will begin in the KC metro area. I envy you guys. My guess is, I will receive Google Fiber when I’m well into my 40s. That is a terrible thought. Maybe I will just relocate to KC. Let us know what you guys think.
