Google Goggles marketing experiment brings offline integration with Brands

Google Mobile has just announced that they are experimenting with their Goggles application to further enhance the use of the application. While this is just in the experimental stage, Google has teamed up with 5 brands:

  • Buick
  • Delta
  • T-Mobile
  • Disney
  • Diageo

With this experimental feature, brands will be able to bring the every day consumer a much richer experience when it comes to marketing and advertising and while people are more likely to have their mobile devices on them at all times, it only makes sense that we would ultimately be headed into this direction. This technology brings new life to print ads and other marketing media including movie posters offering a more consumer friendly experience.
