We last saw Keep, Google’s new note taking addition to Drive, this past Sunday. It was only available for about 20 minutes before it disappeared but that was more than enough time to see what Google had in mind. Now Keep is back and this time it brought an Android app with it. As you can see in the images and video below it is a pretty simple app nothing to extravagant Let’s just say the app has room for improvement, especially when compared to note taking giants like Evernote and Springpad.
The other little thing is just something that will apply to Galaxy Note II owners. I love the S-Note app on my Note II, I can bring it up on whatever app I am in and can clip out and insert any image I want using the S-Pen. Now I am not saying I don’t wish the Keep app could this, I’m just wishing that I could use my S-Pen with it, I mean I can dream can’t I.
Universally the Keep app is a nice simple note taking app and should do well, I mean it is a Google app after all. I just hope that they go through with support on this one and don’t cut it short like their RSS Reader. What do you think of the new Google Keep app? Will Google Keep replace your other note taking apps? Let me know in the comments below.
