Google’s Map Maker in the UK
Google has finally brought Map editing to the UK, allowing people to add information, 3D models, annotations, and other modifications to existing Google Maps through their browser. This will add a new level of detail to Maps in the UK, giving  Google information it didn’t have access to previously, such as local parks, trails, forest walks, golf courses and of course, local knowledge.  It will also allow users to add in new driving directions, and updated information for public transport links, cycle routes, local venues, etc.
All submissions are reviewed by other users, and Google, then published if they are deemed accurate enough.
