Earlier today, Google started sending out invites to an event they are having in New York on the 24th of this month, and the buzz around the community is that it was for the Nexus 5 and Android 4.4. It turns out that might have been a little premature.
Geek.com was one of the first to report about these invites, but after talking to a reliable Google source of theirs, this event will not unveil any new hardware. Geek has since pulled the original article, so looks like no Nexus 5 fun for us. The event is looking to tell everyone about a significant increase in content with some deal they have made with Hollywood and gaming companies. I guess we will find out next.
