Could be a possibility says Mobile Burn via a source from a “major manufacturer”. This new option, which Honeycomb already has, is supposed to be incorporated with the Android 2.4 Update to Gingerbread. They’re also supposed to be implementing “dual-mode” apps that will work cross-platform between Honeycomb and Gingerbread which could add a bit more functionally for us that haven’t gotten to experience Android 3.0. Maybe Google is trying to close the gap between Honeycomb and Gingerbread, who knows. I doubt we’ll get many more Honeycomb implementations on our phones than these suggested here. At least not until we get a completely new release. Mmmm…. Ice Cream does sound good right about now.
